Ace Director Mani Ratnam is planning to make a bilingual movie in Tamil and Malayalam with Mammotty's son Dulquar Salman as main lead. He is searching for the hero-in for this movie from quite some time. Initially, Nithya Menon was considered but she was dropped for some reason. Now the latest buzz is that Mani Ratnam approached Pooja Hedge of Naga Chaitanya's 'Oka Laila Kosam' fame to play female lead opposite Dulquar Salman. But, Pooja turned down the offer citing date issues. It is learnt that Pooja Hegde turned down the offer citing date issues as she will be shooting for Hrithik Roshan's historical flick 'Mohenja Daro' under the direction of Ashutosh Gowarkar who made films like Lagaan and Swades.
