Senior actress Sharada injured in road accident

Tollywood senior actress Sarada met with an accident, she is Safe in Hospital. She was Slightly injured  in a road accident in this Morning. Reports said the car she was traveling in went out of control when the driver was negotiating a curve at Akupamula in Munagala Mandalam of Nalgonda district.

Sharada, who has won National Award three times, began her career in 1950s and went on to act in a number of films in Telugu, Malayalam and other south Indian languages. She is also known as Urvasi Sharada. Sharada is a three-time National Award winning Indian actress and Indian Parliament member. She was chosen for the Andhra Pradesh Government’s prestigious NTR National Film Award for 2010.

Asha Saini receives death threats

Telugu actress Asha Saini, who is popular among the Telugu film sweethearts as 'Lux Papa' for her song from Balakrishna's blockbuster movie Narasimha Naidu is receiving death threats at the moment.

Shreya Ghoshal Ties the Knot with Beau Shiladitya

Playback singer Shreya Ghoshal recently tied the knot with long-time beau Shiladitya in a quiet ceremony on February 5.

"Married the love of my life yesterday night (5th feb) in a beautiful bengali traditional wedding in presence of our families and closest friends. Shiladitya and I both seek your good wishes in this exciting new phase of our lives," Shreya posted on her Facebook page.

Riteish and Genelia bring their baby home

ish Deshmukh and Geniea who recently became proud parents to a baby boy, brought their bundle of joy home on Saturday evening. Genelia was discharged from hospital on Saturday and she was accompanied by her dearest husband and actor Riteish Deshmukh, mother-in-law Vaishali Deshmukh and mother Jeanette D’Souza. This is the couple's first child.  Genelia and Ritesh took time for the media and stopped outside their house for photograhers.

Ritesh took to Twitter to thank his fans for their wishes. He tweeted, “Thank you all for your Love, Prayers & Blessings – the mother @geneliad n the lil one are doing great.”

The new mommy Genelia also tweeted her gratitude, “Thank u all for all the wishes on the birth of Son.. @Riteishd n me couldn’t thank ul enough for being w us all thru this period..”

Ritesh also tweeted a picture of their pet dog with the caption, “FLASH is waiting for mommy @geneliad to come back home.”

Genelia Deshmukh gives birth to Baby Boy

Bollywood star couple Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh have become proud parents to a Baby boy. Genelia gave birth to her son at a private hospital in Mumbai. Both the mother and the baby are in the pink of their health. Ritesh and Genelia had been dating since 2003 and tied the knot in 2012.

Riteish Deshmukh took to twitter handle to express his happiness. "It's a BBBOOOOYYYYYY!!!!!!!!", he tweeted.

Pawan-Venkatesh's Gopala Gopala first look on Nov 28th

"Gopala Gopala" starring Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh in lead roles has finished the shooting and the post production is on at a fast pace. The movie is a remake of the superhit Hindi film "Oh! My God".  Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of Lord Krishna whose role is only for 25 minute in movie.  Shriya Saran is playing female lead opposite Venkatesh. Young actresses, Madhu Shalini and Deeksha Panth have also been added to the cast for this movie.

The first look of the movie is expected to be out on November 28th and leading publicity designers of Tollywood, AB Core designs have been working on it for some time. The look of Pawan Kalyan is a matter of serious curiosity for everyone and the designers are said to have moulded the first look keeping in mind the expectations.

Directed by Bobby, the movie will be releasing as a Pongal gift for fans. Anup Rubens is scoring music while Sarath Marar and Suresh Babu are jointly producing this flick.

"Happy New Year" to screen at Marrakech film festival

"Happy New Year" directed by Farah Khan hit the screens on October 24. The film starring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Jackie Shroff and Vivaan Shah grossed over Rs.350 crore worldwide with more than Rs.200 crore net in India itself. Now the latest news is that “Happy New Year” has now been invited at the 14th edition of Marrakech International Film Festival that opens
December 5.

The film will be screened on the Jemaa El Fna Square Dec 6, the day of the Official Royal Dinner hosted by the president of the Festival Foundation, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid. Farah Khan and cast of the film are invited to attend the Official Red Carpet of the evening, said a statement.

“I’m delighted that HNY is being showcased in Marrakech. Marrakech has become a festival of repute n it’s an honour to take our film there,” Farah Khan said in a statement.

Madhuri Dixit plans to get into film production

Bollywood Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene, who was last seen in 'Gulaab Gang' now plans to get into film production. The senior actress is planning to join the league of Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra.

Madhuri, who recently revamped her online dance academy, says, "I am already involved in some digital production for the academy, so I have an idea about it. Once this is established, I will get into film production."

The actor, however, refused to comment on the kinds of films she would be keen on producing. Madhuri is currently busy reading scripts and fine-tuning her online dance academy. The academy has recently been expanded as training for various disciplines including screenwriting, film-making and acting have been added to its repertoire.

Ask Madhuri if working on her academy is keeping her from doing more films, and she says, "It’s been over a year now since I started this academy, and I have continued doing everything simultaneously since then, whether it is films or television. And scripts keep coming to me regularly, so I will act again; all I need now is the right script."

'Govindudu Andarivaadele' goes for censor tomorrow

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's upcoming family entertainer "Govindudu Andarivaadele" has finished the shooting and the post production works are going on with good pace. The movie will complete it’s censor formalities on the 26th of this month, and will hit the screens on October 1st. Kajal Agarwal is the female lead.  Charan will be seen in the role of an NRI who comes from London. Srikanth, Kamilini Mukharjee, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha are playing important roles. Krishna Vamsi is weilding megaphone and Yuvan Shankar Raja scored music. Bandla Ganesh produces this flick which is slated to be high on family values. 

Neeraj Pandey's "M. S. Dhoni" first look unveiled

It is well aware that Sushant Singh Rajput of 'Kai Po Che' fame will be reprising the role of Indian cricket team captain Dhoni in a new biopic. Neeraj Pandey of 'A Wednesday' and 'Special 26' fame will be directing this movie.  Shooting of the major portions of the film have been completed and currently the film is in final stages of production with one or two small schedules left.

Now, the first look poster of 'MS Dhoni' has been released today. The first look shows Sushant wearing a Dhoni jersey.  Dhoni's wife Sakshi unveiled the first look of the biopic on Twitter. "Clearing out all those rumours being carried out past few days.It was all false.. Here you go ....BOOM !!!," she commented while sharing the picture.

Dhoni's biopic will be named as 'The Untold Story' and is set to release in 2015.

PC wins Hrithik's dare, performs handstand in heels

Bollywood Greek God Hrithik Roshan, who is now gearing up for the release of 'Bang Bang' recently challenged his 'Krrish' co-star Priyanka Chopra to a dare, which he named the #BangBangDare. Hrithik wrote: “The only girl I cud dare this! For super @priyankachopra my #bangbangdare HANSTAND with a push up! Do u accept! U have 3 days.”

Priyanka Chopra accepted the challenge to perform pushups while doing a hand stand. The 'Mary Kom' actress not just finished her dare in quick time but to her credit dit it wearing high heels.“Here you go Hrithik Roshan…a handstand with 3 push ups! In high heels! #bangbangdare… next time try and make it a little difficult,” she wrote on her Facebook page.

Jeeva's 'Yaan' gets clean U

'Yaan' starring Jeeva and Thulasi Nair in the lead directed by Ravi K Chandran has completed its censor formalities.  The movie was screened for the committee members of the censor board today. A clean 'U' certificate was issued to the movie without any deletion of footage.  Harris Jayaraj is the music director. 'Yaan' produced by RF Infotainment is getting ready for a massive release on October 2nd to cash in on the long festive weekend.

Lakshmi Menon replaces Shruti Haasan in Vishal's next

Shruti Haasan is now one of the most wanted actresses down south. Shruti is currently busy shooting for Hari's upcoming movie 'Poojai' with Vishal.  This movie is slated for Diwali release. Shruti was expected to pair up Vishal in his next film to be helmed by Suseenthiran. Shruti was initially pencilled for the female lead role, but now it looks like Lakshmi Menon has replaced her in this film where the heroine is said to be a small town based girl. Previously Vishal and Laxmi Menon paired in  hit movies like 'Pandianaadu',  'Nan Sivappu Manithan'.

Dasari's 'Erra Bus' progressing at brisk pace

Veteran Filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao's upcoming directorial 'Erra Bus'  which is the remake of Tamil super hit film "Manjapai" is wrapping up its shooting schedules speedily. After completing a huge schedule in RFC, the unit has now moved to Ooty. Two songs will be shot in this schedule, with which the entire film will be completed. Manchu Vishnu and Catherine Tresa are playing lead roles and Dasari himself will be seen in a crucial role in this film. Chakri is the music director of this movie. Anji, the cameraman of 'Ice Cream', is working for this film. Dasari is planning to release the film on November 14th on the occasion of Children’s Day. 

Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa' shooting completed

Superstar Rajinikanth's latest flick "Lingaa" has completed the talkie portion shoot of the movie.  The film’s stunt director, Lee Whitaker took to Twitter to announce the news, "Last day of climax for #lingaa ending on a huge stunt! Great seq with @RathnaveluDop will miss the team!" Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka is playing female lead roles in this movie and rest of the cast includes, Santhanam, Karunakaran, Jagapathi Babu, Dev Gill, Vijaya Kumar etc. AR Rahman is scoring the music for this film and KS Ravikumar is weilding meagaphone for 'Lingaa', which is set in two different periods. Ratnavelu is the cinematographer and Rockline Venkatesh is producing the movie with lavish budget. The film which features Rajini in double roles will be releasing on the birthday of superstar,on 12th december.

'Liar's Dice' selected as India's entry for Oscar

Actress turned Director Geethu Mohandas road drama "Liar's Dice" starring acclaimed actors Geetanjali Thapa and Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been selected to compete in the Oscars for best foreign film category. 'Liar's Dice' was the unanimous choice of the 12-member jury headed by eminent filmmaker T. Hariharan, from over 30 entries. The other films in the fray were Shahid, Queen, Mary Kom,  Mardaani,  2 States, Fandry, Yellow etc.

Geethu Mohandas made her debut as feature film director with 'Liar's Dice'.  The movie had also won the best cinematography honour for Rajeev Ravi, Geethu’s husband, and best actress title for Geetanjali at the 61st National Film Awards.  The film set in a village in Himachal Pradesh near the Indo-Tibetan border deals with the issue of the human cost of migration to cities. The road movie goes through the story of a young mother living in the remote village, whose husband goes missing after having left to work many months ago. On the way, she meets an Army deserter, who decides to accompany them to their destination.
