Regarding section 46 (2) and Section 46 (3) of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014, the Union Government is determined to support Andhra Pradesh, giving Special improvement package to backward zones and Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra district of the State.It has now been chosen that funds adding Rs.350 crore (@ Rs.50 crore each District) in seven Backward Districts of Andhra Pradesh may be given to Government of Andhra Pradesh in the midst of 2014-15 for its advancement exercises. Government has sanctioned about 850 crores in total of which 500 are for Seema and Uttarandhra districts. For the financial years 2014-15 Andhra Pradesh got this special package.
